Faults

Overview

The "Faults" doctype allows you to record and manage information about faults or issues within the Service Management module.

Fields

1. Description

• Field Type: Data

• Label: Description

• Usage:

  • Enter a brief description of the fault or issue.
  • This field will appear in the list view for easy reference.
  • Example: "Machine X is not starting up."

Usage

1. Navigate to the "Service Management" module.
2. Select "Faults" from the list of available doctypes.
3. Fill in the "Description" field with details of the fault or issue.
4. Save the record.
5. You can view, edit, or delete the fault as needed.

Notes

• Use the "Description" field to provide a concise summary of the fault or issue.
• Ensure to save the record after entering the details of the fault.
